You want to see imoprovement in a college player, look no futher than LSU’s senior center Chris Johnson…dare you to go to the stats on this guy and look up how many points he scored as a freshman, Soph, and then a Junior last year. If you’re not convinced after checking out the numbers that this guy will play professional ball somewhere you’re not a true hoops junkie. 11 points a game last year as a Junior compared to 1.3 per as a Freshman–the 6-11 center missed 7 games this past season for his SEC squad and get this, they lost every single one of those games. He also hauled in 6 boards a game and blocked 2.5 shots a contest as well…I asked him about his post LSU playing days which will arrive this time next year and he said,
“The plan is to take it to the next level whether it be in Europe or here in the United States.” seems like a humble and soft spoken kid and glad I ran into him becasue I think everyone mistakes him for super center Anthony Rudolph who’s only a freshman but is prjected as a top 5 pick in the NBA this June. Mark your note pad, Chris Johnson will make some money playing basketball after his upcoming senior season with the Bayou bengals..
