I ran into former roundballer Dan Roundfield at the airport in Atlanta. The former Hawk and Pistons star is now a business development manager. You better remember how good he was on the court in his old hoops days…
Roundfield was a defensive player who could block, steal, and play D. His play was similar to Ben Wallace. The added bonus about Roundfield is that he could hit the 18 footer. he won a title with the Pistons and was on the Atlanta Hawks from 1978 to 1984. You should drop him a line sometime at roundfielddt@cdm.com. I bet he’d love to hear from you…a rregular blue collar guy who you may see every now and then at the hawks games in phillips arena….He also may be one of the most under appreciated players to have ever played in the NBA and the ABA. You gotta give him this: he came to work ready to go every single day during his 12 years dropping 14 plus points per game and grabbing close to 10 boards per contest.
